The Web has become a vast local market for artists. There are
millions of artist's pages and hundreds of art portals with
millions of links to junky galleries and junky artists. After
extensive high-speed surfing, I never saw a site that prepared
the newcomer for the art world, providing the kind of information
that would help her sift through the junk in order to find
and understand quality. Hence, The Art lady site. There are
also some wonderful art sites. Primarily, they provide images
and not the comprehensive information you need. However, as
I mentioned before, constant looking at art is the best way
to develop an eye. So go to it!
